Commercial demolition covers the removal of commercial structures and interiors, from stripping a retail space down to the shell to taking an entire building off the site. DiamondBack Demolition works with business owners, general contractors, property managers, developers and commercial property owners throughout San Antonio and South Texas.
Commercial work runs on a schedule that somebody else set. A lease starts, a tenant moves in, a permit expires, a project has a delivery date. Most of what makes a commercial demolition go well happens before the first day, in the planning.
who need the demo phase handled cleanly so their trades can start on schedule. Tell us what has to be standing when we leave and we will work to that.
turning a space between tenants. Old buildout out, shell ready for the next one.

where the demo scope is defined by a corporate prototype and there is a fixed date attached.
Other tenants, neighboring suites, shared walls, shared parking. Work has to be contained: dust control, protection of surfaces that stay, coordination on noise and hours.
Loading through a storefront, a shared dock, a parking garage with a height limit, or a downtown site where the truck has nowhere to sit. This is a planning problem, and it is solvable when we know about it in advance.
Occupied buildings and retail centers sometimes need work done outside business hours. Tell us what your building requires and we will build the schedule around it.
Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, sprinkler and fire alarm lines run through what you are removing. Which ones are dead, which are live, and which serve the space next door. This gets confirmed before anything is cut.
In a multi-tenant building, some of what looks like a partition is holding something up. Anything structural gets confirmed before it is touched, and where the scope requires engineering input, that gets sorted first.
Older commercial buildings frequently require an asbestos survey prior to demolition or renovation. If your building falls into that category, we will raise it early so it does not stall the schedule.

If your architect issued a demolition plan, that is the fastest path to an accurate number. If there is no plan yet, a walkthrough works.
Debris hauled, floors swept, the space handed over in the condition the next crew needs. On a full building demolition, that means the slab and footings out if the scope calls for it, the site graded, and nothing left for the construction crew to work around.
