Land clearing is removing what is on a piece of property so it can be used for something else: structures, debris, old materials and obstacles. DiamondBack Demolition clears lots and acreage across San Antonio and South Texas for construction, property improvement, cleanup and resale.
Most of the land clearing we do is not raw brush country. It is property that has been used, built on, or used as a place to put things, and now has to be usable again.
Everything that is on the site comes off, and the ground is left workable for the crew that follows. Tell us what your builder needs and we will leave it that way.
Rural land in South Texas frequently comes with decades of accumulation: a collapsed structure, three dead vehicles, a burn pile and a fence line nobody has touched since the eighties. Clearing it is what makes the property yours.
Land shows and appraises better cleared than covered.
A notice about a property with accumulated debris or an unsafe structure, with a date on it. Tell us the date when you call.
Pens, chutes, feed structures, old equipment and structures that have outlived their use.
Gate width, the condition of the road in, whether a loaded truck can turn around, and how far the material has to travel to reach it. Rural access is the single biggest variable on land clearing.
Photos help, but on acreage a walk of the property is worth more. Things get found in the back corner.
Trees you want kept, the well, the septic, fence lines, gates, working structures, utility poles and lines. Mark them or walk them with us.
Different material streams go different places. Metal, concrete, wood and general debris separate, and how much of each there is drives the haul.
Slope, drainage, low areas and how the ground sits once the material is off it.
We are a demolition and clearing contractor, not a dirt contractor. Structures, debris, concrete and obstacles are our work. If your project needs engineered site work, extensive grading, excavation, drainage or dirt work beyond leveling the cleared area, we will tell you and you will want a grading contractor for that portion. It is better to hear that at the estimate than at the end.
