Fire and disaster cleanup is the removal of damaged structures and materials from a property after a fire, storm or other event, so that repairs or a rebuild can begin. DiamondBack Demolition handles this work throughout San Antonio and South Texas.

Being clear about this saves you time. We are a demolition and cleanup contractor. We remove what is damaged and clear the property.
We do not do contents restoration, smoke odor treatment, water extraction, mold remediation or reconstruction. Those are separate specialties, and if your situation needs them you will be working with a restoration company as well. Our part is the removal, and we work alongside those companies regularly.
If you are filing a claim, your adjuster generally needs to see the property before anything is removed. Photograph everything, and confirm with your adjuster before demolition starts. We will work with the scope your adjuster or contractor defines.
After a fire, some of what is standing is not safe to be in, even if it looks fine. Do not send anyone inside to salvage until somebody has determined the structure is stable.
Total loss and the whole thing goes, or partial damage and we remove back to sound material. Where the damage stops is not always visible from the inside, particularly with fire and with water that has been sitting.
Damaged material out, debris hauled, site cleared.
The property is left ready for whoever rebuilds or repairs. Tell us who that is and what they need.
South Texas storms produce roof failures, fallen trees through structures, and flooding. Structural material that has been wet long enough does not recover, and removing it is what makes the repair possible.
We remove the damaged material and the debris. Water extraction and drying are a restoration company's work, and if that is where you are, get them on site quickly. Time matters more with water than with anything else.
We are used to working inside a defined scope. If your adjuster has issued one, send it. If your general contractor has defined the removal, we will work to their line. If nobody has defined anything yet, we will look at the property and tell you what we see, which is often useful in the conversation with the adjuster.
Keep documentation of everything before it is removed.
